The Applied Arts Upgrade
The preparatory year of Applied Arts upgrade, known in France as MANAA (see above), is a recognized qualification under the control of the Paris Rectorate.
This first year of preparation is given over to learning the basic techniques of design in areas such as drawing, graphic creation, computer assisted publication, 3D animation and spatial analysis. The course is completed by a practical application of technique within a company.
It gives students the opportunity to pursue their studies in the following Applied Arts courses:
International Bachelors in Video Game Art
Graphic Design Diploma (a BTS qualification, see above) and International, Bachelors in Graphic Design, specializing in communication and printed media.
Graphic Design Diploma (a BTS qualification, see above) and International Bachelors in Graphic Design, specializing in communication and digital media:
Spatial Design Diploma (a BTS qualification, see above) and International Bachelors in Interior Design.
Interactive Media Integration Diploma ( Second level plus 2 years higher education).
In addition to studies in these courses this upgrade acts as a transition to other BTS Applied Arts courses. It is also an excellent preparation for the competitive entrance exams for art, architecture and design schools.
