2018 - Open Data - Workshop Bachelor's Degree in Graphic & Digital Design

2nd and 3rd years of Bachelor's Degree in Graphic & Digital Design

The « Open Data » workshop took place from February 19 to 23, 2018 for students in 2nd and 3rd years of Bachelor's Degree in Graphic and Digital Design. Divided in 5 groups, students have worked on the concept of Open Data.

Open data represents at the same time a movement, a way to perceive access to information and a way to share freely accessible and usable data.

Our students had to reflect on the topic working on a mobile application called « Arts Lab ». They had to design the logotype, the app itself and define its user experience. Students also had to create an animation with soundtrack that expressed their take on Open Data.

To guide them through the project, the workshop was supervised by Damien De La Marlier, their digital design studio teacher and Philippe Vernier.
