2019 - Climate emergency - Multimedia workshop

2nd and 3rd Years of Bachelor's Degree in Graphic & Digital Design

From February 25 to March 1, 2019, the school organised a workshop for students in Bachelor's Degree in Graphic & Digital Design. The assignment was the same for all students, with a common theme: climate emergency! Each student then had to express themselves through either a video animation or a poster. The workshop's final ojective was to take part to the 2degrees-petition project

2degrees-petition is a project which aims at creating a huge visual petition to contribute to the fight against climate change with an image bank for action.

The visual petition is to be found online in its entirety on the 2degrees-petition.com digital platform and works as an image bank for organisations, NGOs, foundations and institutions to use during their events of any type: exhibitions, banners, rally or conference decors, or to flood their social networks. The petition was also sent to the UNFCCC.

During the Walk for Climate on March 16, 2019, posters were set up on the République Square in Paris, then shown at an exhibition in the 10th arrondissement City Hall.

All throughout this week's creative workshop, students in Graphic Design worked under the leardership of Thierry Sarfis and Antoine Monneret, their teachers in design studio. Students in Digital Design worked all week with Philippe Vernier and Damien De La Marlier, their teachers in digital design studio.
